Linda Bondestam, Finland

Linda Bondestam, born in 1977, lives in Helsinki, and works as an illustrator. She is a graduate of Kingston University, London. She has participated in a number of exhibitions in e.g. London, Frankfurt, Helsinki and Bratislava, and illustrated more than 25 books that have been translated into several languages, including Arabic, Danish, German, Italian and Russian. Linda Bondestam was nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award 2010 and 2012, for the Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize in 2013 and for the Finlandia Junior Prize in 2003 and 2014.
